Adobe Typekit

External fonts from “Adobe Typekit”, a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest BusinessCampus, Dublin 24 Republic of Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Adobe”, are used to display the font design.

When the website of the provider is called up, a connection to the Adobe server is established in order to enable the display of the fontor to update it. Under certain circumstances, data may be transmitted to servers in the USA.

In the opinion of the data protection supervisory authorities, however, the USA does not currently have an adequate level of dataprotection. There are therefore so-called standard contractual clauses between the provider and Adobe for the transfer of data to thirdcountries: www.adobe.com/privacy/eudatatransfers.html

These are private law agreements, however, and therefore have no direct impact on the access options of the authorities in the USA.

The legal basis is Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest of the provider is the optimization and economic operation ofthe website.

Through the connection, Adobe can recognize from which website a request is sent and to which IP address the display of the font istransmitted.

Adobe offers further information, in particular on the possibilities of preventing the use of data, under the following links: www.adobe.com/privacy.html, www.adobe.com/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html.
